Criteria for papers to be accepted

Instructions to the authors

In order to publish the articles into the ETC (Economy - Transdisciplinarity - Cognition) journal, the authors should respect the following instructions:

Margins orientation: down - 2,2 cm., above, right, left - 2 cm.; page layout - A4;

Title: Garamond, 36 pts., bold, centered, in English;

Author/Authors: first-name, name - Verdana, 14 pts., bold, to the left of the page; organization (in English), e-mail address, telephone - Verdana, 11 pts., bold, to the right of the page;

3 - 6 key words, in English, Book Antiqua, 10 pts., italic;

Abstract: no more than 300 words, Book Antiqua, 10 pts., in English. The abstract should clearly specify the aim of the work and the objectives.

Text: Arial, 10 pts., in English. The paper must be written clearly, concise, without any ambiguities. The text must respect one line distance justified;

The references should to be found at the end of the text, in alphabetic order, Arial, 10 pts., one line distance, following Harvard model (author, appearance year, title- italic, place, publishing house). If the article comprises notes, they will be attached at the end of each page;

Tables, figures and graphs will be numbered with Arabic figures  - Table 1, 2 etc.; Fig. 1, 2 etc;

  The constructive structure of the article: each article will have the following general make up: title, author(s), contact details (institution, telephone, post address for sending the journal issue, e-mail address - the last one will be published within the journal) key words (max. 5), introduction (general presentation of the theme, used methods and main obtained results knowledge added value etc.), contents (having minimum 3 chapters and maximum 5 for an article of 15 - 20 pages), conclusions, references, bibliography/ webography. The distinction between references and bibliography is one eminently deontological. The chapters can contain sub - chapters for a more clear presentation of the ideas and of the research steps. There will be not accepted articles having only 1 -2 chapters, without conclusions, references and/or bibliography/ webography. This general construction will be sent to the assessors, being also made public on the inside cover of the journal.

The conceptual structure of the article: Both in the introduction and along the presentation of the article a general presentation of the researched area, the aim of the research and the methods used for the investigation, the level of knowledge the moment when the research started (by presenting the main works existing in the field, and precising the agreement or the dis-agreement with authors) will be required. The positioning of the author within the ideatical/ideological, conceptual, gnoseological/epistemological/cognitive context existing  at the moment when the work hypothesis and the research utility decision appeared not only for the reader but also for the author of the article. Making a continuous reporting to the existing literature helps a lot to avoiding the illusion of absolute originality, to the knowledge of some similar endeavors, to the consolidation of an overall picture of the researched field(s). Speaking form a methodological point of view, the ECT will mainly agree with the interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approaches, in respect to its denomination and to the assumed editorial policy.
