Mission statement

The journal ETC is addressing to economists and social scientists in a very broad sense. Methodologically, the journal promoted both interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary approaches as a necessary way to get new information, new ideas and to pick up the old boundaries among disciplines. The journal is focused on real economy and on economic theories in a very large understanding. For example: economics is not only about market, money, management, production etc., but it is about semiotics applied to the economic fields (brands, publicity, or new translations of old economic signs).

The editorial staff promotes modern or postmodern/ transmodern thinking, just in order to address to people with different beliefs and to establish contacts among them.

In this respect we invite readers to propose thematic issues, to suggest new approaches or to improve the structure of the journal. We do believe that readers are potential co-authors and they have the right to co-manage the journal. Based on the proposals that may come from the readers, we may include the real contributors in our editorial advisors. Feel free to send both simple propositions, or full-length articles, book reviews, journal reviews, case studies, interviews, reports from international conferences, debates on theoretical and methodological issues, etc. Also any feedbacks from readers about the already published papers are welcome and we may publish them as a proof of a real dialog.

Submission

There is no restriction in sending papers just because the editing of this journal is a continuous process. The papers are reviewed by at least two blind reviewers. Every paper will receive observations of the reviewer and the decision of the editorial staff concerning the necessary stages to be followed. Research papers should not exceed 25 pages, appendices and references included. Book reviews and journal reviews need to present all identification data (ISBN, number of pages, price etc).  As a meter a fact a book review is a good pretext to create a real dialog with the book author and to really help readers to get info about the book.
